Lotus CB750: Tear-Down & Monoshock Build
Posted: December 15, 2018 by noahyamen
Began the construction on this 1980 Honda CB750 this week. Started with tearing down some of the unnecessary components, as well as cutting off the rear frame. This opened the way to start fabricating the monoshock setup.
I was able to get a decent start on the monoshock as well. The main rail that supports the shock is now shaped and mounted. There is, of course, more work to be done to it (such as support bars, mounts for the shock, etc). It follows the shape and path of the swing arm as well, while allowing clearance for the chain.
